Flyboy's Setup I have the following computer specifications: SONY VAIO Laptop * Intel Pentium 4 processor 2.80GHz * Onyx-black 15.0" XGA (1024x768) TFT screen * 512 Mb DDR RAM * 40 Gb hard disk drive * 64 Mb ATI Radeon IGP 345M Chipset (integrated) * DirectX 9.0c * SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio * Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (Service Pack 1 Build 2600) * Logitech Mini Mouse Optical (USB) * Logitech Attack 3 Joystick (USB) Flyboy's LB1 I am running AH-64D Longbow at 320x240 with minimal settings, but with NO crashes. Laggy game-play and low-res graphics are a real turn off. I use the following method of game installation/setup: * Copied entire LB1 CDs to a folder, and mounted as a virtual drive in DOSBox * Full install option * Patched to v1.08 * Played through DOSBox * Modified DOSBox setup (experimental) * Custom DOSBox launch settings * Mimimum graphics options in-game Flyboy's LB Gold I am running Longbow Gold in either of two ways... I use the following method of game installation/setup: * Daemon Tools NoCD install method (using DAEMON Tools Lite 4.12.0 / SPTD 1.55) * Full install option * Patched to v1.04 * NO 3DFX PATCH! * LBWIN.EXE (set to 'Windows 98 / Windows Me' compatibility mode) * Modified CA.INI file * Game in Software mode * Maxed out graphics options in-game * Memory Allocator (set to 256000 K - note, must be left running to work) * Turbo (set to 50% - note, must be left running to work) Flyboy's LB2 I am running Longbow 2 at full potential, with full graphics settings and with NO crashes. Training works, Kiowa works, NavMap works. No Debrief screen crash, no graphics bugs, no sound stuttering.
